Because proper planning is the key to a successful network installation, we begin each project with a client interview to determine the requirements of the network. Some of the questions that need to be answered at this stage are:
-What are the key purposes of the network?
-What software will the client use to perform critical business functions?
-What are the hardware and operating system requirements of all software?
-How many users and how many locations will be involved in the network?
-How much growth is anticipated over the next 3 to 5 years?
-Who will provide ongoing support and administration for the network?
-Does the client have an existing network that needs to be upgrading or removed?
-Does the client have a budget for the network?
-Does the client have installation deadlines for the network?
With the client's requirements in mind, our network engineers and sales specialists meet to discuss the design of the network. This planning phase allows us to consider all possible design options and to develop an installation plan that takes into consideration all of the client's requirements as well as any existing infrastructure or equipment. Once our installation plan is complete, our certified engineers will meet with the client's to discuss the plan and to explain the reasons for our recommendations in each area of the plan.
